About Shetland Moving Image Archive

The Shetland Moving Image Archive is a registered charity, working to establish a local film archive that can clean, repair, preserve and make digital copies of old film including cine. The focus of the Shetland Moving Image Archive will be to preserve and catalogue historical footage of Shetland and enable this footage to be used in innovative and creative ways including within the key sectors of: commercial, creative, education, health, heritage and tourism.
