About Sheffield Hallam University Canoe Club

SHU Canoe is a well-established recreational sports club that offers encourages members of all abilities to develop their skills, through recognised BCU qualifications and different disciplines, including canoe polo, slalom and white water. We also offer regular trips to a variety of locations, both in the UK and overseas. This year we are hoping to raise a minimum of £10,000 to replace our aging fleet of polo boats and safety gear such as buoyancy aids, helmets and face guards. Any extra funds would be used to subsidise the costs of our various trips to encourage more people to get involved with the sport. Especially as we operate in an area with a disadvantaged community and would really help students develop their opportunities.
