About St John's Hospice - Lancaster

St John's Hospice is a local charity which provides free palliative care to patients with life shortening conditions. Our services cover a population area of 250,000 people in North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire. It costs £6.9 million a year to run the hospice with only around 25% of this amount provided by government funding. The remaining £4.9 million must be raised through events, community donations, grants & legacies.
