The money raised by fundraising will go towards my trip to India. During this trip I will practise different techniques for treating mental health issues from a variety of cultures. I will also explore how current methods could be improved/adapted with the help of professionals. After volunteering I hope to have learnt various alternative treatments and be able to apply this in my chosen career. In addition I hope to raise awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental illnesses.
