About St Davids Cathedral Library

St Davids Cathedral Library, Llyfrgell Y Gadeirlan Tyddewi, is the only Welsh Cathedral Library in situ. Beautiful books from the 16th Century to 21st Century. And all in medieval rooms inside the beautiful Cathedral built originally about 1181 in the place where 6th century St David/Dewi Sant lived & established his community. The Library Collection is available for researchers as a rich source of original & rare materials. It is also a popular venue for general visitors.
