About Stoke Spitfires

We are a fully inclusive wheelchair Basketball club in the heart of Stoke but reaching to Stafford , the Staffs Moorlands and beyond. We aim to develop players to the best of their ability and as far as they want to go whether that be as club players for recreation or aiming to achieve a place on the GB talent pathway. We also deliver in our local communities to schools and groups to ensure young are reached who may be missing out otherwise on PE on the curriculum. We do this for club donations and do not charge coaching fees currently. We also take on young people who may not be classifiable under our NGB system to provide fun. We actively seek to support parents. We provide summer holiday club activities and use boccia and new age kurling too as numbers can be too high for just playing ball! As a club we are constantly striving to improve and develop capacity and skills to increase our potential to reach more.
