Funds4Uni - Sujit Bhatta - 1st year

I am raising money for my undergraduate education. I am the first in my family to go in the university so I had little to no knowledge about the university process and how you can get student finance for uni. At year 12 my form tutor teacher sent my wrong grades through UCAS which cost me two of my top choices unis UCL and KCL. I was blinded by my head teacher at me suggesting that I can get student finance because I have lived in the UK as a UK student for more than 3 years even though I had a dependent BRP card. At the time of selecting offers, I selected QMUL as my firm and City University as my insurance unis. But later I found out that I was unqualified as a home fee-paying student by student finance after accepting the offer. The cost of studying BSc Computer Science at my chosen university are £28k and £20k per annum respectively. So, in the exam hall I intentionally got lower grades to not be accepted in my firm offer just to reduce my financial burden. Although my family is supporting me but as a lower-middle-class family living in London with its economic crisis I cannot think how gruesome a couple of my years would be.
