About Support And Love Via Education International

S.A.L.V.E. is a UK and Ugandan partnership charity. Since 2008, we have been offering support to children living and working on the streets of Jinja, Uganda, giving them the opportunity to turn their lives around. Children living on the streets are some of the most vulnerable, marginalised and mistreated members of society, often using drugs as a mechanism to cope with their difficult lives. They do not have access to shelter, medical care or education and they do not have the care or support of loving family members. Life on the streets is one of extreme poverty, with constant danger of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. We believe that no child should have to live or work on the streets.
