About Stafford Welcomes Refugees

Stafford Welcomes Refugees (SWR) is a constituted voluntary group of local people that was set up in September 2015 We offer support to any refugees in Stafford as follows: regular social events; gatherings; trips; ESOL teaching; and friendship. Our Outreach group collects supplies to send to camps in Greece and elsewhere. We raise awareness about the issues and situation for refugees and campaign for more refugees to be welcomed and supported in Stafford.
