Hi, in July 2025 I am going to join a 4 week community and sustainable expedition to Borneo with Camps International - https://www.campsinternational.com/ To do this I have to raise all the funds myself!! I hope to do some of this with some individual fundraising but also with a small group of friends who are also going on the expedition. This is certainly going to be a challenge but I know it will be so valuable in so many ways. The expedition will take us to 4 different camps in Borneo which are totally integrated with the local community and we will be working on projects that the community have asked for help with. These could be building or restoring classrooms, toilets or other community facilities; planting native trees to restore habitat after deforestation or beach clean ups. In the last week we also get the opportunity to take part in a Padi Scuba diving course.
