About Taunton Street Pastors

As Christian volunteers, we work in the town centre every Saturday night, 10pm to 4am. Especially supporting the vulnerable, we engage with those having a night out and the homeless. Providing practical support including water, flip flops, heat blankets, helping people get into taxis, reuniting friends, clearing cans/bottles, calming potentially aggressive situations, etc, we are a safe and reassuring presence. We get alongside people and simply listen, giving them all the time they need.
