About The Umbrella Cafe CIC

We are a social enterprise organisation; we host a community cafe with a pay what you can menu & a social pantry shop within a community centre in the heart of Whitstable. Using food as a tool, we aim to reduce social isolation and food insecurity in our locality, by providing empowering support facilitated by our volunteers. We use surplus produce & aim to reduce food waste in our town. We strongly believe in collaboration and aligning ourselves with other organisations that share our values.
