About Operation Wallacea Cuba 2015 - Thomas Bennion

I have the opportunity to carry out research in the Punta Frances National Park in Cuba over the summer of 2015 with Operation Wallacea. This organisation undertake a variety of reef and species surveys in along-term research collaboration to develop and implement a biodiversity monitoring programme that will provide the data needed to inform conservation management practices across the whole of the southern island. I am asking you to support me as this is a once in a life time opportunity for me to study marine biology and assist in carrying out research which will contribute to the protection of one of the worlds most biodiversity rich areas. It is also something I would love to do and will be such a fantastic learning opportunity.
