Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare

Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare cares for up to 90 retired racing greyhounds at any one time. The majority of these greyhounds go on to enjoy life as a family pet, but for some, with medical or behavioural issues, life as a family pet is just a distant dream. Because we never put a healthy greyhound to sleep, these greyhounds have a home with us for life in our dedicated sanctuary. They may not experience all the comforts of living in a home, but the quality and standard of care lavished on them is touching. When we add up all the costs involved in running the kennels, such as kennel rent, staffing, food, bedding, vet bills, utility bills, etc... It costs over £2000 a year to care for each greyhound. Now, at a time when everyone is feeling the pinch, your support is more important than ever. Please help us to continue to find homes for as many hounds as possible and to give those who may not find a home the retirement they truly deserve by sponsoring a sanctuary hound, or making a regular donation.
