About When Sharks Fly Theatre

We are an up-and-coming theatre company who practice in queer theatre, making, and workshops. We are currently working on two projects, one a queer story set in Cornwall, and the other a Greek mythology inspired story of the after life. As a small company just starting out, we are looking for support in any and all ways, so that we can not only share our stories, but also inspire the next generation of theatre makers. Our workshops are aimed at smaller communities who don't have access to drama and theatre programmes. Within these workshops we give them insight and access to the world of performing arts. Our core aims: 1.Create authentic, DIY performances of stories not often told 2.Highlight and lift up others within communities who are overlooked 3.Inspire the next generation of theatre makers 4.Make theatre to communities who don't have access
