About West Kent Befriending Service

"The greatest gift in life is friendship" Human interaction is a basic need of everyone. Loneliness is non-discriminatory to age, gender or wealth. Imagine only having one conversation a month, just twelve conversations a year. Simply one hour a week spent with a lonely person can fill that void, giving them a new zest for life. We offer free 1-2-1 befriending to members through regular volunteer visits, encouraging our members to feel part of a community and re-engage in social activities.
