World Challenge Borneo 2026 Athanasia Elovari-Clarke

Hello everyone, my name is Athanasia and I am currently in Year 9. I have been offered this amazing opportunity to go to Borneo for 2 weeks with school and World Challenge. The total amount I need to raise is £4300, including transport, food, accommodation for all the places we will visit. I cannot wait to discover this amazing country and make so many memories and learn about their culture. On day 1 of this journey, I will arrive in Kinabalu, then the next day we will discover the capitol and start packing up everything from the hostel ready to leave for the Pahul trail trek which will last 4 days. After the trail, I will then get the chance to get involved in the Gibbons conservation project and also meet Orangutans too. For the final 3 days of the expedition, I will travel for 6-7 hours to Sepilok where I will spend the last days discovering the city before I get on a plane home.
