About Warwick in Africa Ghana 2020 - Xanthe Blain

This July, I will be teaching Maths to secondary school students in Agona East, Ghana as a volunteer for Warwick in Africa. Despite limited resources and class sizes of up to 75 students, WiA volunteers are able to improve average test results in a matter of weeks - often the difference between a 'pass' and 'fail'. I'll be running interactive classes with the hopes of inspiring young pupils to continue learning and see the power of education! Your contributions support WiA for 2020 and beyond.
