About Young Somerset

Somerset Rural Youth Project is a rural regeneration organisation whose mission is to work with young people, encouraging them to take responsibility for themselves and become actively involved in shaping the communities in which they live. By concentrating on young peopleâ€™s needs and concerns, regeneration targets including measurable social and economic outputs will be met with greater learning and commitment, resulting in cohesive and sustainable communities. SRYP therefore encourages â€˜Rural Regeneration by using Strategic Youth Work Methods.â€™
